Christians know that when they die they are going to a far better place.

Which means being okay with dying, especially for principles.

I get that reasoning.

Some deaths happen in awful car accidents. Like a light switch, death is immediate. If you trust your soul is saved, boom…heaven.

But there’s a completely different place you might find yourself in. Relatively few people understand. It’s an area. Not heaven, hell or even purgatory.

That place needs a comparison and a description.

Ever been on a rollercoaster? They’re insane now!

Each park tries to outdo the others. But the rollercoaster ride no park offers a 3 week long hill drop. Imagine how you’d freak out. Even if it was knowably safe, they wouldn’t offer it. Not because you’d have to take time off work to ride it or because the line would be berserk. No drop over three seconds exists because humans would be permanently traumatised, damaged from riding it.

But the quick ones are amazing. You see the rollercoaster ride in advance, paid for it and hopped in the cart voluntarily. The car goes up, then it happens, the big hill-drop feeling. You know it’s only a speak of time, but it feels more like a brain-swallowing confusion of forever falling into a bottomless pit .

It forces a scream out of you.

Welcome to the first few seconds of real pain.

That’s what it’s like, only it’s the three-week ride.

Imagine three weeks spent in sheer terror struggling to breathe, having an avalanche of pain with severe organ failure and a searing hot fever with the Covid delta variant.

That’s not hypothetical, you just haven’t seen it.

If you dislike the mainstream medias, dislike them for this very good reason; they are not showing you the abject horror, disgust, and true putrid suffering Covid patients are going through. Laws protect those peoples identities & privacy. It’s beyond awful when laws are more important than showing the truth. Mostly be angry that they want viewers more than they want to show the truth of pain. Go ahead, think how angry you that you haven’t been shown how disgusting Covid is.

Think now, because once you’re in a hospital bed, suffering, you won’t have access to all of your mind. You won’t even be able to understand what thinking is. Because sheer, undiluted pain moves in & takes up way more space than you imagine. Just like a week, hours or even minutes long rollercoaster drop, pain doesn’t let your mind process anything but a scream. If you’ve got a tube in your throat, you can’t even do that. If you’re able to open your eyes, they’ll continually, frantically flick around the room looking for relief, escape or at least an idea of what’s happening. You won’t be able to ring up a nurse to come over. They’re busy with the others who thought a getting a shot would be horrific.

Nothing truly compares to lengthy suffering. If we had words to adequately describe it, they’d be considered unspeakable beyond any profanity ever uttered.

The very worst part of suffering is that if you’ve never experienced it, you can’t specifically grasp the gravitational pull it’s got. Which isn’t your fault. Some research on this topic shows the human brain quite literally cannot conceive of pain that doesn’t stop. We’re organically wired to accept pain until it’s inevitable conclusion then carry on after. It’s limes the guardrails that allows us to carry on with laundry & checking email without constantly thinking about our own mortality. Serves a purpose, but pain outright ignores the need to inform you “go get help!”. In case you think pain killers work on that level, you are wildly wrong.

I know this from extreme, decades-long suffering. I thank God it has abated enough that I can think. Create sentences, throw in some punctuation based on guess-work and hope for coherence.

Nose, if the disease was like a light switch; click, you’ve got it and drop dead it could make sense to willing to die.

Butt it’s physical pain that does not stop. Covid patients need organ transplants some have permanent brain damage.

Mostly remember you may not suffer, it might be a child. If you could handle 3 weeks staring non-stop at a hospitalized child suffering in pain and choking to breathe, then, okay. don’t get vaccinated.

And don’t count on the heaven thing, either.

But there’s a place you might go that relatively few people understand. It’s a zone. An area. Not heaven, hell or even purgatory. If you’ve ever been on a rollercoaster you’ve had that big hill-drop feeling you know will stop but seems to last a weirdly long time. It’s a confusing brain swallowing speck of time that forces a scream out of you even though you’ve paid for and waited in line to experience.
